Your machine or a server
We do the full configuration. You choose where it lives — sized to how many agents you actually need, not a generic rack.
On your hardware
If you already have a capable machine, we install there. More control, more local power, lower monthly cost. For agents that must stay up overnight, the box has to stay on. A mini PC with 64 GB of RAM, or a Mac mini, is the setup we recommend most.
On a server
A VPS stays reachable 24/7 without your laptop open. One or two agents fit a small instance. Ten at once needs more — we match the box to the workload. Same Hermes stack, same stop-gates.
Setup is us. Model bills are yours.
We usually start with a ChatGPT subscription — simple, predictable. OpenRouter is the other path: you can pick and swap models, but the bill climbs fast if the agent is busy or you choose expensive ones. We help you choose, and we put spend caps on.
FAQ
Your computer or a server?
Both work. Local is cheaper and snappier if the machine is strong enough and can stay on. A server is always available. Tell us whether you need one agent or a small fleet — we pick the box with you and configure it.
Who pays ChatGPT / the models?
You do, after handover. NasLabss is the setup. Recurring AI usage is on your account. ChatGPT subscription if you want a stable monthly bill. OpenRouter if you want to switch models — with the caveat that spend can rise quickly. We walk you through it and leave spend stop-gates in place.
Do I need to be technical?
No. Screen-share, we drive. You approve stop-gates. Founders and ops leads are the usual buyers. Developers are welcome if they want the internals explained.
Hermes vs Claude Code vs Cursor?
Desk is Hermes / Nous first. If you already live in Cursor or Claude Code, we wire the same memory and skills there instead — say so at booking. The $59 GEO pack covers SEO-only harnesses without a live session.
What if my OS is messy?
That is normal. We isolate the agent, do not “clean” your whole PC, and abort if a stop-gate would be unsafe (shared family machine, no backups). You still get a written report.
Refunds?
If we cannot complete install for a technical reason on our side, the session is refunded. If you no-show twice, the fee covers the reserved slot.
